Step 1: The Key Campaign Creative Steers The Ship.

Every campaign starts with promotional offers and messaging that is then put together into a key piece of eye-catching creative. This not only sets the tone and theme for the rest of the material, but is designed to match any specific holidays or national events. In this case, it’s built around Labour Day. P.S. “Labor” isn’t a typo in this case, don’t forget it’s an American based business!

Since Rest & Relax focuses on three separate product categories that each have their own specific offers and promotions, multiple landing pages have to be built to accommodate this. These landing pages share a similar structure for consistencies sake, but their content and imagery is altered between the pages. This way, if you’re shopping for a massage chair, you won’t have to sift through all of the hot tub and mattress offers before you find what you’re looking for.

It Starts With The Poster Creative And Evolves To Social Media Pieces.

As with any other campaign, there is always a primary piece of key creative that is produced, and supplementary pieces are built off of that design. For this piece, the goal was to have patrons immediately identify what was being advertised within roughly two seconds of looking at the poster. Using ticket imagery along with popcorn and a film reel signify right away that this is a movie based event, and using the Restore brand blue lets both members of Restore and their sister company know who is holding the event.
